Liriope muscari 'Super Blue'
Blue-green foliage and lavender spikes. Tolerates sun and shade; a garden favorite.

Liriope Super Blue has blue-green foliage and lilac flowers and is widely used in gardens. It is an improved form of Liriope muscari "Big Blue": it grows slightly taller and tolerates more direct sunlight.
It produces abundant lavender flower spikes that rise above the foliage, followed by clusters of black berries. It tolerates heat, humidity and, once established, dry spells.
Uses:ground cover, shade plants, borders and planters, landscaping projects
Super Blue is an improved selection of Big Blue: it grows slightly taller, tolerates more direct sun and keeps the characteristic lavender blooms.
On our farm, its ideal propagation cycle takes approximately 12 months.
Liriope is a perennial with long, narrow, grass-like leaves that forms dense clumps and blooms in lilac or white spikes. It is one of the most widely used ground covers in landscaping because it tolerates sun and shade, needs little maintenance and never has to be mowed like a lawn.
